Under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohamed VI and El Foundation, Dr. Moataz Abdelrahman was invited at the African Academy for Health Sciences in Morocco in November 2014. 

The African Academy of Health Sciences (AAHS), launched by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health in Morocco, aims to establish Africa as a leader in health innovation. Functioning as a hub for research, education, and South-South cooperation, the AAHS offers specialized training and fosters strategic partnerships with organizations like the WHO to address Africa's unique health challenges. 

This initiative is a significant step towards achieving health sovereignty in Africa by promoting scientific excellence, developing localized solutions, and building resilience within the continent's health systems, ultimately addressing long-standing gaps and health disparities.
